glueglue starts from a passion for the universe of illustration with collages - a world full of visual possibilities and metaphors. I chose to call it “glueglue” because it transports me to the child's universe of collages.

This form of art has a “raw” and spontaneous registration that allows unlimited possibilities of experimentation about image deconstruction and (re)construction. The fragments are “cutted out” and decontextualized and, when inserted into another context, transfigure themselves. In this game lies the beauty of collage. The fragments from different contexts join other fragments in the game of experiments, drawing figures that, taken together, create the history . “Pop Art" and "Vintage graphics” are a great influence.

Although i create handmade collages, the compositions are mostly done in digital support. glueglue sells prints in several formats, in high resolution on artist matte canvas or photographic paper and each print is hand signed. Canvas already have wooden structure, pine grade with 2 or 4cm thickness, and are finished on the back with craft tape.

Posters in photographic paper are sold unframed.

All prints are shipped in a sturdy package.
